Translating words from English to Tamil vocabulary is one of the best practices to learn the language. It helps us to use the English words by knowing its meaning. Translation can be done by connecting the already known words in Tamil and English, asking someone known, and or referring to a dictionary. Translation of the sentences rightly helps to understand the information or message and also it is helpful in the improvement of spoken language.

I.          Read the given English sentences and translate them into Tamil.

II.            Match the English Sentence with its Tamil translation.

Extra activity
Write some English sentences that you use frequently/ heard frequently or 
write down by referring to your text books (at least 10 sentences).  
And translate those sentences in Tamil. (Ex: How are you? – நீ எப்படி இருக்கின்றாய்?)
You shall try practicing to do the same every day, or at least weekly once.
